STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL, ACCRA CITY CAMPUS

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ghana – Accra City Campus is a parasol body representing the interests and welfare of University of Ghana, ACC students. The SRC of ACC co-ordinates the activities of the academic, cultural, religious, political and recreational needs of students as well as clubs, associations and societies.

It seeks to break the lacuna by providing a linkage with outside organizations and concerns itself with all aspects of students’ welfare within the university. All students are eligible and encouraged to participate in one or more of the various programmes and events of the SRC.

All students registered at the university are automatically members of the SRC. The SRC is funded by direct levies (SRC Dues) from its members to finance its programmes, projects and activities.

The SRC officers which includes the SRC President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and the Women’s Commissioner are elected annually by a ballot of all students during the second semester to serve the following academic year.
